Message from Faculty of Kindergarten - Cairo University
The college seeks to prepare its students academically and professionally in the light of the national academic standards through the continuous development of the college programs and the preparation of scientific research in accordance with the requirements of the age and the service of the community to compete in the local and regional labor market
Objectives of the College:
The College works through its scientific departments, which cover most of the specialties required by the labor market to achieve the following objectives:
First: Preparation of a graduate of the bachelor's and postgraduate level is able to:
- Application of educational and psychological skills in the scientific life in the field of childhood
- Determines problems and decision-making and dealing with crises
- Uses technology that contributes to providing outstanding educational services to the children of society
Second: Training specialized educational leaders in different areas of childhood
Third: Designing training programs, seminars and scientific conferences in the fields of childhood
Fourth: Designing various programs and training courses to raise the level of workers in the fields of childhood scientifically and professionally
Fifth: Preparing scientific and field researches and studies in the fields of childhood
Sixth: To propose scientific solutions to address the issues of childhood and to advise the various bodies in the fields of childhood

Article (1)
The Faculty of Kindergarten - Cairo University is granted upon approval of the College Council the following academic degrees and diplomas:
1- Professional Diploma in Education, Kindergarten
2- Special Diploma in Education, Kindergarten
3- Master's degree in pedagogy
4- PhD degree in education in kindergarten
Article (2)
Study Dates:
The study is divided into three semesters:
1- The first semester starts from October for 15 weeks
2 - The second semester starts from February and for 15 weeks
3- The summer semester starts from July and has intensive hours
Article (3):
school system :
Studying the system of credit hours that enable the student to register in a number of courses up to 18 credit hours maximum and a minimum of not less than 12 hours per semester

Approved time:
The unit is a unit of study to determine the weight of each course relative to the other courses. It is equivalent to a theoretical lecture of one hour per week, a practical lesson or two-hour laboratory or clinical exercises. Semester .
 


Article 5:
General Conditions of Registration:
1- Completing the conditions for each department (if any)
2- Obtaining the approval of the competent department council
3 - Completion of all required documents from the Department of Graduate Studies
4 - Payment of tuition fees before the start of the study or according to the specified date and announced in the college and excludes from this condition the assistants, assistant teachers and scholarship students
5 - compulsory registration for the student to be allowed to attend and the calculation of courses
6 - A student who does not register before the end of the second week of the beginning of the semester is not entitled to attend lectures and does not get the assessment of this course even if he led all exams and requirements of the course
7. The student should receive the TOEFL for the master's degree (450 points) and the doctorate (500) local points
Article (6)
Course Rules:
1 - The student has the right to delete / add any course before the end of the second week of the beginning of the semester without showing the decision that was deleted in his testimony and without any additional study fees
2 - Students are allowed to withdraw from the course after registration before the end of the twelfth week of the beginning of the semester in this case does not count the student hours of this course in the cumulative average and shows an estimate in his testimony.
3. A student is not allowed to enter the final examination unless he attends more than half of the teaching hours of the course. In case of not attending this course, the student is considered to be an obligatory withdrawee from the course and appears in his /

Doctor of Philosophy in Education
Doctoral Qualifications:
1. Apply the specialized knowledge acquired in his / her professional practice (according to each discipline).

4 - take appropriate professional decisions (according to each specialty).
5. Efficiently employ available resources (according to each specialty).
6. Explains specialized theories and knowledge related to his / her professional work (according to each discipline).
7 - Explains the moral and legal principles of his professional practices (according to each specialty).
8. Identify, arrange, and propose solutions to occupational problems (according to each discipline).
9. Analyzes research related to specialization
10. Assessing occupational risks in light of the available information (according to each specialty).
11. Writing professional reports (according to each specialization).
12. The professional needs are determined in light of the evaluation results (according to each specialty).

Article (16)
To enroll the student to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Education Kindergarten requires:
Must have a master's degree in pedagogy specialization from one of the Egyptian universities or the equivalent of specializations related to the specializations of the college from another scientific institute recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities with a good grade of at least or at least C + Supported.







2. The student will study the courses of 50 hours, divided into (10) study hours, (40) research hours (10) hours per semester.
3. The student will prepare a letter in the same specialization chosen by the student after passing all the hours of study (10 hours) and after the positions of the two departments of the department and the faculty on the subject of the thesis with (40) credit hours divided into four semesters by (10) research hours per semester Study.
4. The specialized scientific department shall determine the supervision body of the thesis in accordance with the exact scientific specialization of the subject of the thesis.
5. The College and College Boards have the right to allow the student a maximum period of two semesters to complete and discuss the thesis.
6. The main supervisor shall submit to the department council a request to form a committee for the ruling and discussion, supported by a report on the validity of the letter signed by the supervisors, presenting the proposed composition of the council of the department to the college council after its positions for the committee of graduate studies and research.
7. The student is awarded a doctorate degree in kindergarten education with the following estimations:

                              - Excellent
                              - excellent with Honor's grade
